Faith lives with her mother who is HIV positive because her father passed away in October of 2012 from AIDS. Because her parents have always been very sick and unable to work, Faith has not been able to have an enjoyable childhood like most kids. Her mother has a small stand where she sells tomatoes and vegetables however she is still unable to meet Faith’s basic needs or provide her with an education.

Both of Parvathi’s parents died of HIV infection leaving her caring for her younger sister but after 6 months her younger sister died of malnutrition.

Misrach lives in poor conditions. With both of her parents being HIV positive it is hard for them to work. Because of this Misrach rarely gets to eat and is unable to go to school.
